Ratings & Reviews for EGO POWER+ 56-volt 18-in Battery 6 Ah Chainsaw Battery Included Charger Included

Great product

Love the ease of use, the balance of this saw.

Quality cut, light weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chainsaw is really nice. It has a lot of plastic but all of it feels sturdy. The only questionable plastic piece is the lock mechanism. Its very light and cuts right through branches and logs. Battery seems to hold up pretty well.

Better than my Stihl

It's a great saw. It matches the performance of my gas-powered Stihl, but is so much easier to use. It starts easy, it runs all day long, and it is much safer to operate!

Best battery powered chainsaw

I purchased this after reading and watching alot of reviews. I have to say without a doubt this is definitely worth the money. It takes about an hour or so to recharge and cuts through trees like they are nothing. Using this for general yard cleanup on 3 acres of land. Real easy to use and maintain.

It’s unbelievable

It has outstanding power. It is a EGO 18” battery powered chain saw.

Heavy with poor chain tensioning mechanism

The second time I used the saw, the chain jumped off the bar. The tightening mechanism seems poorly designed. For a saw of this expense, I would have expected a better mechanism.

Great chain saw

Works great better than I had ever thought it would and didn’t have to deal with the noise of a gas’s engine.

Powerful and Effective

This is a powerful, simple to operate and maintain chainsaw. I was a little skeptical about what happened read in other reviews. However, after using it for about 2 hours it definitely performed as advertised.

Worked Swimmingly

I purchased this April 10th to cut up a tree which had died and fallen into my yard from an adjoining wooded area. The tree was approximately 50 feet long and the thickest part of the stump was about 10 - 12 inches in diameter. It cut through the tree like butter and I was finished in about an hour or two. Most of that time was spent just trying to prop the tree up for the next cut. Very happy with this purchase. I used to use a gas powered chain saw but since I only used it every couple years, ...

Super easy to use

So easy to use this right out of the box. Everything is intuitive. Factory chain is sturdy, i dinged it a couple times on steel sawhorse/log holder and it still chews through logs no problem. i bought extra chains but i'm on 6th charge cycle and initial/unsharpened chain, very happy so far. also just bought the 12in smaller version of this which also takes the same 56v battery.

EGO Battery Hits a Home Run!

Impressive performance powered by a 56V battery.

EGO Battery hits a Home Run!

Very impressed with the overall performance. Wouldn’t use it for heavy duty tree cutting because it will drain the battery faster. Making Battery Power Tools Great!

Powerful saw

Replaced a smaller saws, both gas and electric. Impressed with the ease and power the saw generates. I also am pleased to have such a powerful saw without worry or starting, maintenance of fuel mix etc.
