Works, but beware of getting warranty support
Unit worked for a while. When I needed warranty support the human assistance was terrible. I eventually gave up and will buy a replacement elsewhere.

My new saw
The saw exceeded my expectations and easily cut through large maple logs. Light weight and easy to use. I have an EGO blower which works great blowing leaves.

Well balanced power
Would RecommendVery good chainsaw. Very good to take down trees up to 10 inches and to cut logs. A bit heavy but the battery is very tough.

Check version
The cs1604 is to slow rpm. I am returning for a cs1610, or rather the kit with the 4ah battery. It has a difference of something like 6800 vs 11000 rpm. This is from memory if it serves. You can see the difference from the metal front bucklers vs plastic on the older version.
