Terribly damaged

I was unable to pick up due to the length of the ship lap and decided to have it shipped at a cost of $79.00. I was notified the truck would be there shortly. I work 1 mile away. I left immediately only to see the truck leaving. I was sickened to see that of all seven packages were visibly damaged without even opening them. My contractor decided to return them for me and pick through good ones. I paid to have them ship me damaged goods. Thanks Lowes

Very nice finished product

We used this product on our kitchen backsplash and it turned out fantastic. We used alot of adhesive and tape to hold the planks in place until they cured. I could not be happier with the end result.

We bought the PVC shiplap to go in our bathroom to replace the plywood shiplap that was original. We used brad nails in the tongues to hold it in place. It tends to bow slightly because it isn't held in place on both sides but it is not overly noticable. I wish we would have used adhesive but wasn't sure if we were going to keep the shiplap. It cuts very nicely and has a very sleek finish and cleans well with Windex. We decided not to paint it, but may in the future.

Perfect for the right application

Clean, lightweight, easy to cut. I used it for a garage room ceiling & it was simple to install with screws. O'l yes, the negative is I could not find the perfect screw & a nail=nope. Likely a stapler is best but I didn't try it. If rafters are not perfect, it will show a wave-whereas wood would not. But I was satisfied with end product.

Give it a shot if you’re a DIYer

I recomend this product for a DIYer. Very easy to work with. They appear bent when you purchase but it’s PVC, lay them flat overnight and they’ll straighten out. Each pack comes with three 8 foot long pieces. I’d recommend to go to the store and pick out the ones you want because some might have dings on them. I recommend a light scuff sand prior to painting ( I used 180 grit with a slow and smooth pass). I tried painting, both with and without sanding and the paint adhered better on the o...
