Would RecommendIt is very easy to install, will not cut up feet or paws and Definity less expensive than the metal edge. The downside, the plastic is still but not quite still enough to make a smooth line. It is better than other products but not the same as metal.

It's definitely sturdy and works great for where we needed it. However, I would unroll it and let it lie flat for a while before installing. We had a really hard time getting it to go straight. It's still wavy after install.
