Great Weed Eater

Amazing string mower and very easy instillation. I use it on my 2 acres with trees, johnson grass and flower beds. I would highly recommend this walk behind mower.

Works well

While the trimmer works well enough I am not thrilled with the way the line attaches by just looping through itself bc it tends not to tighten and remain tight when I let go. A previous machine I owned had a wide, flat “hook” of sorts behind a slot and feeding the loop through the slot over the “hook” then pulling it back tight made a much more secure line attachment.

Strength of use and ease of maintaining mower

I’m so happy with my string mower. I have some large brush and Japanese bamboo in my yard And my string mower cut through it so easily I am so pleased with the result and going to get a lot of uses out of this product also, one of the strings broke off the mower and replacement was so easy some brush got caught in the bottom tray of the mower, but disassemble to remove debris was Quick and easy

Just what was needed

I have property that is is not level and is rocky. A lawnmower will not work. We use to have to use a weed eater which was time consuming and a back breaker. Now cutting down the weeds and grass is much easier and less time consuming.

Saw blade attachment

Good product, needs to add saw blade attachment feature. It would be a five star rating

Works great on tough grass and weeds. Don't expect it to mow down shrubs and trees, it's not a brush hog! Reliable. Light and easy to operate. Easy to re-string.

Excellent Mower for the price-Highly recommended!

I purchased the Walk Behind String Mower to deal with thick weeds that boarder an irrigation canal in hopes that it was easy to maneuver. The mower was very easy to put together out of the box. It started immediately and ran perfectly with only a couple of pulls the very first time. The engine is strong and actually not as loud as I expected. Good value and easy to use!!

Easy to use - sturdy and cuts through weeds/shrubs - use it on a hill and works well - buy extra cutting cord/string - restringing is a piece of cake; good value for the money spent

Good for trimming

Good mower saves the old back from swinging the weed wacker. Couple small issues , the dip stick hard on the old gimpy fingers.The sheild over the motor some what in the way.Small hands needed. Looking at the air cleaner trying to figuer out how to change, the large wheel somewhat is in the way of getting the cover off. Rolls nice and easy, string changing is cumbersome.

Bad on off switch

Machine works great , plenty of power. However after my fourth time using could noy shut off , had to pull wire off plug in order to shut machine off . Have it at a certified warranty repair shop for the last two months waiting for new switch.

Good overall

This is a workhorse. I have an area I used to tackle with my weed whip. Took HOURS. This machine made short work of it. The reach with this compared to a weed whip is beyond compare. We cleaned under pine trees behind buildings, around a rock garden. It’s really nice to have. If you get in to thicker “Stick” type brush you’ll be changing the string more often but the trade off = work, so precut some of the strings (21.5”) to have for quick changes.
