Ratings & Reviews for DuroMax Dual Fuel Inverter 2300 Starting / 1800 Running Watt Gas and Propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Very good product

Bought this to have portable power. When the electricity went out for several hours I ran it to keep the refrigerator and freezer running the duel fuel is great I have only used with propane which is nice because you don’t have to worry about the gas plugging up the carburetor if you don’t use it that often it starts easily and works good

Duromax-2300 watt dual fuel generator

I love this generator. Works great and powers up anything I've hooked up it. Love thw dual fuel mode.

GREAT Product for it's size and very quiet!

So Happy I bought this generator for my man cave chest freezer refrigerator lights five stars all the way! Next time I will be getting a bigger one for my house to run everything. I would highly recommend it to everyone looking for one you want be sorry!

I like it so far!

Impressed with this unit and the features. Time will tell how good it is!

Excellent for keeping refrigerator on

I used it during last few hurricane seasons. The outages were short and this just filled the bill. Due Fuel is definitely the way to go.

Awesome equipment

I have owned this generator for about two months. I have two of them. They both start on the first pole every time and run my camp trailer with air conditioner superbly I would highly recommend this product to anybody. Can’t wait to use it again.

Quiet, efficient, very reliable

I bought this 20 months ago and have had to use it 4 times for lost power events and a couple off site events. During Hurricane Helene used it for 6 days straight about 13 hours per day with any failures. I have only run propane in this generator and it is certainly quiet.

Great for my purpose

I use my generator 3 days a week at farmer's markets. I only use propane. It has never seen gasoline. It runs great. Starts 2nd pull when cold, 1st full when warm. It's relatively light and transports easily.

Is it on?

I run this generator at a farmer's market. Before I turn a machine on, I start the generator. I keep it about 25 feet from my work bench, outside, no windows or doors. Twice someone has asked it it was on. This is so quiet you can run it without blowing out your ears. A number of vendors also running generators have also commented on how quiet it is.

Great little generator for your RV!

We bought this unit for camping after a great experience with Duromax and our 13000HX we use for home backup. This thing is fairly light and very quiet. About 200 hours on it now and it’s been reliable. Perfect for your camper

Duro Max XP 2300 IH

Love it, however, the unit was very hard to start initially. Took, twenty or so pulls to get it going. Heart attack city, other than that, I love it.

Great product

I bought this unit a year ago and it has not disappointed. I’ve used it multiple times at the beach for hours at a time in the 95 degree heat. Still going strong

Won't run on gasoline

I bought this primarily to run on propane and liked that it was dual fuel. However, I cannot get mine to run on gasoline. It runs fine on propane, although was quite hard to get started when new. The spark plug wasn't gapped properly and oil was in the cylinder, possibly from shipping and perhaps not kept upright. I have opened a warranty claim with DuroMax to see if they can solve the gasoline problem. Also, it is much noisier than I expected.

Overall happiness.

Happy with product, transaction and customer service.

Never a problem with DuroMax

This was the third DuroMax Generator that I have purchased. I wore out another brand 2000I that I have had for years. I have had such good luck with DuroMax I decided to get this one. It is super quiet and runs great on Propane. I have had an 8500 for approx 6 years and it runs every time I need it. I love these machines.
