Would Not RecommendWhen assembling, the wrenches sent with tool kit didn't fit the battery terminal bolt and bolt was supposed to have been included but wasn't. Hard to start first time on gas, then ran for an hour on gas. Shut it down and wouldn't start back up on gas. Switched to propane and will start on propane. Going to call support today to see if they can help

Whole house backup
I bought this for a whole house backup system. I installed an outlet, breakers with safety interlock to our main home power panel. We switched the power and everything tested fine! Now we should be ready for ice storms this winter and electrical storms this summer. We live in a very rural area and this setup is s real blessing.

Sturdy machine, easy transport, whole house power
Would RecommendSpeedy delivery. Shipping box had some damage but only a scuff on the generator. Setup instructions were very clear and all parts along with associated tools were provided in the box. Despite its weight, was easily transported from barn to house on wheel kit with handles. Start up instructions are straightforward and started on the first attempt with propane. Connected to newly installed inter-lock switches on house (one 50 amp and one 30 amp) and had no hesitation while providing power to whol...

Not happy
Would Not RecommendGot the generator, spent 30 minutes assembling it, made a trip to the auto parts store to get oil, gassed it up and it didn’t start. Spent a great deal of time on hold, finally talked to someone that went through a bunch of troubleshooting and said I should go buy a new spark plug for the new generator. Still doesn’t start. Spent another bunch of time on hold before I was told they would send a new part and I have to find a small engine mechanic, have it fixed and they will reimburse me.

DuroMax
Would RecommendThe DuroMax Generator is everything it was advertised to be. Shipping was fast and easy. The only issue I found was my gas gauge doesn’t work, which is a very minor issue. It has plenty of power, and does what I need it to do.

Excellent generator, as described, good buy.
Would RecommendHappy with the delivery, not too difficult to add the wheels feet & handles, however it was missing a couple of tools (9mm & 17mm wrenches) & 2 washers, but I had spares. Also the battery was at 45% & took a couple of hours to charge- not sure if it will hold the charge yet. The propane hose is short (4.5’), so I will obtain a longer one plus add a gauge for my 100# propane bottle (holds 23 gal & is portable).
