Outstanding Generator

I bought this generator to run my whole house back when we had problems with power going out on a regular basis several years ago and it’s still working like a charm. Starts up as it should. Highly recommend a DuroMax Generator any sort. Actually three of my other neighbors also bought one.

Great generator

I bought this to run house during power outages. We had a 4 day outage and it ran 24 hrs a day for 4 days, just kept adding gas. Never let us down. Highly recommend

12,000 Watt Dual Fuel Portable Generator w/ CO Al

I have had great luck with my 12,000-Watt Dual Fuel Portable Generator. I have only ran it on propane so far and do not plain on using it on gas unless it becomes necessary. Unit starts and runs great. Very smooth running and quieter than my old Yamaha I had before 

Great generator

I bought this generator 2 years ago and it has worked perfectly to power my whole house for 2 extended power outages. Starts easy and runs great.

Awesome product

Purchased as a backup power source for the house and garage. . Great quality, features at a great price. We use a 15000 for our Fire Department. Never an issue with these generators. Only brand I’ll buy

Does everything I need.

We've needed to use this several times in the past 2 years. Living on a private camp road, we're usually the last to have power restored.

Haven't had to use my new generator yet,quite sure I will at some time. Glad to know I have it when needed.

Affordable whole house generator

It's portable but at our house it's in its permanent location, mounted on a concrete pad with semi-permanent connections to the house panel via a manual transfer switch. We run the unit on Natural We use this permanently mounted unit to power our entire house including a 3-ton A/C unit. It is connected via a manual transfer switch and runs on natural gas. It's not automatic, but for the few times we loose power it is no problem at a 5th of the cost of others.

Does not start

I attempted to start this generator using propane and was unsuccessful. Tried a second time using gasoline and still cannot start the generator. The engine turns but does not start. I have attempted so many times that the battery is now dead. The main reason for buying this model was the option to use propane.

Didn't work right out of box

After assembly, went to start generator for the first time and it doesn't work. Lowes won't do anything to fix the issue and duramax wants me to replace parts myself. Unacceptable.

Great

So far this as worked as expected ! More than pleased.

Carburetor defect

Never used it. Only started it when I bought it. I then started it to get ready for hurricane season. Fuel was pouring out of the carburetor. The repair mechanic used ultrasound and cleaner. The leak stopped but now the carburetor oscillates causing power fluctuations. Now I am on this site looking to purchase a replacement carburetor.

Horrible Customer Service

Unfortunately we waited too long to return this. We have never got this to start from the day we opened it up. Bought a new spark plug, charged the battery, still won't start. Customer service is useless. Won't return any type of correspondence.
