Ordered by mistake LOVE IT!!

Ordered this "frameless" and thought I'd made a big mistake. Thought I would be getting a hinged glass door, but turns out if that had been the case, two doors would have conflicted. Good thing this is a sliding system and taught me once again to read the product description more closely. All said this turned out to be a fantastic quality, simple installation product completing a new shower area.

Excellent quality

I brought this 3 weeks ago and very happy with the 2-piece gliding, scratch-resistance shower kit, it included the base which has a perfect pitch, so water goes smoothly down the drain. I love my shower door that has great adjustment to open and close without banging into the slider frame, it has a grip to hold the glass.

Nice door!

We love the door. It glides smoothly and much more sturdy than some we looked at. It looks really nice, clean design. We didn't install it but it seemed like our contractor didn't have any trouble.

Tub to shower conversion in a small bathroom

We removed the tub in an upstairs bath and had the Dreamline Encore glass shower doors installed to finish the retiled shower area. The pickup at Lowe's and the installation by our contractor went smoothly, resulting in a nicely enclosed, watertight shower area that highlights the tile and plumbing features.. We considered custom doors but chose the Encore doors based on price and quality.

Shipping damage

The product was shipped to store for me to pick up. Went to pick it up and the box was in very bad shape. Got it home and most of it was remarkably ok. But i did have a dent in one of the side rails. I contacted dreamline asking about a new side rail. It's been 5 days with no response. I could pack it all back up and take it back but at a 125 pounds and lots of glass ,that would be a pain. Guess for $700 people don't deserve good shipping or answers from the company.

Great dual sliding shower door

Really beautiful door, and the instructions were good as well. Very pleased with the door. And it came in oil rubbed bronze to match the bathroom.

Beautiful! This oil rubbed shower door assembly is absolutely spectacular! Heavy and durable ready for use. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an upgrade.

box nearly destroyed

For an item that costs almost $800 and shows up in a box that looks like it's been tossed around the back of a truck, all taped back together because there are so many holes in the box, and what's inside the box other than thin finished metal and glass. If I'm going to spend this kind of money, I want it to come in a nice box; I want it to come not looking like it's been tossed around all to hell. And then what I don't want is the store manager to slice the box open in front of me to prove his p...

Good and bad

Love the look and the doors. Once installed realized defect on both doors when they were back to back of deep scratches and light scratches little bigger than a quarter. May have happened in shipping.

Water drains?

Where does the water drain out of the bottom shower track? Ours installed on our tiled shower curb & then siliconed around the edges on the inside & the outside. Is water supposed to flow to both sides of the bottom rail & exit through a drain hole? Will go underneath the track?

Great shower door

All I do is kitchen and Bathrooms.. You have to make sure your sill is level or you will have problems installing! The DreamLine Encore shower door is a great quality shower door, easy to install with the right tools and drill bits, epically drilling tile!
