Ratings & Reviews for DOMINATOR 2.5 Gallons Clear Adhesive Rock, Pea, Gravel Mulch Glue
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this product for effectively locking down mulch and gravel, preventing displacement during rain, wind, and foot traffic. Most appreciate its ease of application with a sprayer and premixed formula requiring no dilution, reporting strong, durable bonds especially with two coats. Many note it leaves a desirable shine and simplifies leaf cleanup. However, several mention the high cost and small coverage area requiring multiple gallons for moderate spaces. A few report application challenges due to quick drying times. Despite some concerns about price and occasional bonding failures with gravel, most customers find it delivers reliable stabilization.

Worked really well to hold pea gravel in place
Pea gravel
Would Not RecommendWould NOT recommend! It says it covers 150 sq ft per gallon...I bought the 2.5 gallon one and sprayed 160sq ft using the ENTIRE thing, it did not hold at all. Waste of money and very unhappy. Used it on pea gravel, completely dry pea gravel, stayed dry & sunny for 48 hours afterwards as well.

Great for small pebbles.
Would RecommendUsed this for holding small beach pebbles in place between flagstone. Followed directions and it worked great. Gives the pebbles a nice shine as well. We have bought many containers of this stuff as we have a lot of pebbles. Doing front and backyard.

Would Not RecommendI too followed the directions and waited over 24 hours to see if it worked. No one walked on it and it did not rain during that time period. It's like I never applied it. Very disappointing. If you purchase this product l, I hope you have better results. I will look for a different product.

Bad batch or this is a terrible product
Would Not RecommendFor 100 dollars you would expect for this to work great, but no. Instead I spent 100 dollars for quite literally nothing. Wasted time and energy and money only for it to not hold my mulch together at all. I applied it exactly as the label said, weather was good, it did not rain for days after applying, and I even thought I was putting a generous amount on it. But still it did nothing. Could it have been a bad batch? I really hope so and hope I could get another jug to change my opinion on this, ...
