For a quick release it is a good tool. The drawback is you cant see the short bits. They only stick out about 1/8"

A must-have for tight space
Would RecommendGreat for work in tight space. I installed blinds where the mounting bracket was mounted in the inner top corner of a recessed window trim. The drill wasn't able to drill straight. The bit holder does what it is supposed to do and gives more room to maneuver.

Hope your bit doesn't break
Would Not RecommendDoes its thing as a pivoting bit holder. Only gripe is that retaining ring really locks in the bit. Removing the bit requires effort and may damage it. If your bit ever breaks, your better off throwing it away.

Mine is black shank, and no yellow, but still has silver at the top. Regardless, it has the same function. Advantage is that the tip can swivel for handling tight spaces and gives you some angle.
