Love it But.......

I purchased this about a year ago and have used it several times and each time it worked flawlessly. Until.... this last project when the router stopped working when under load. As soon as I started into the wood, it stop the bit and I had to turn it on and off to restart the process. It took several on and off procedures to finish the cut. The router runs fine when not cutting but still stalls under load. Not suer of why but getting a new one for future projects.

I am impressed with this compact router. Variable speed Bit change out Long cord Acrylic base plate Good feel in the hand The LEDs don’t matter when working outside as I do It’s my first router. I like it! Recommend

Great addition to my CNC

I used this router on my 24x48 CNC. Have cut many wooden projects. And milled 1/4" aluminum with no problem.

Reasonable Router

The router is the one recommended by a company that does a lot of mill work. De Walt has a great name. For small to medium router jobs requiring a mill bit, this is the one.

A good handheld router

Easy to grip for my men's medium and the clear base is a plus.

My Birthday Gift

Almost couldn’t wait for my birthday to get here, Dec. 27, 2018. I knew what I was going to buy with the money. I had been looking for DeWalts small Router. All the characteristics were exactly in the right place for ease of operation; ie. changing bits requires only one wrench, putting the bit at the right depth is a sinch, switch on and off is a breeze.

I’ve been needing a router for several years. I finally buckled down and bought this one, it worked great. Highly recommend excellent price.

Great router

Light weight, makes a nice cut, good price, great dealing with Lowe’s.

Used for milling

Used as recommendation in milling project, it wasn’t as good as its beefier counterparts but the job was still completed.

Great little Router

This is a great little router, only downfall is this is my second one and the brushes wear out very quickly. I use mine farily infrequently (once or twice a week) and within a year the brushes were worn out. The good news is you can buy the brushes on Amazon for about $12.00 and they are easy to replace. I have a larger model dewalt router that is in a router table that gets far more use and I've had for five years and not had the brushes wear out.

This is an easy to use, light weight router that has the power to do jobs of routers three times it’s size.

Powerful

I have used this tool in the past and now I have my own, I love the power it has and ease of use as it is light weight and small enough to handle without feeling awkward. My only concern is how hot the base and cutter gets in use. So hot I have to stop production. Now I'm not sure if it's just because it's brand new and running at its optimum potential and the carbon brushes are somehow making the tool run faster which is heating it up so much, but it gets so hot I am worried it could damage th...

Excellent compact router
