Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT 8.25-in 15 -Amp Portable Jobsite Table Saw

Pinion fence issues

The Pinion fence does not always stay in the place I move it to. After adjusting the fence to the width of the wood, and pushing the wood to cut it, the fence sometimes slids to the right leaving a gab between the wood and the fence.

What an upgrade

I'm not a professional carpenter but I like building stuff. I've been using a Skil table saw that I bought at Lowes in 2008, it was on sale for $99 back then. This unit has a smaller blade 8" vs 10", but is so much better in every aspect. Ripping 2x4s, the the wood just glides across the table like it's some sort of non stick frying pan. And the table seems to have more room than my other one, wish I'd measured for comparison oh well I put it in my driveway today with a 'free' sign on it and it ...

Great product well worth the price

Thought about soending less since at age 68 im nit sure howvmuch longer I can keep doing hone improvements and karge projects. But so gladvi purchased this item. Its runs so smooth and it is very sturdy. And the included features/options are priceless.

Dwe7485 dewalt saw. Nice saw for the money

I like this saw quite a bit. Has plenty of power and everything was square right out of the box. Only two things, the blade it comes with isn’t the best and no zero clearance throat plate.

Easy to operate

It's easy to operate. I was using it on my wood floor project and I liked the push handle that comes with it. It has precise cut and makes the floor not assembled by a pro look great. The turn off button lid is big so you could use your knee to turn it off while both of your hands are busy.

Good saw except one flaw.

This is my second Dewalt table saw. The screw that raises and lowers the blade eventually wore out after a couple of years of use. Do yourself a favor and keep the screw lubed to prolong the life of the mechanism. Other than that issue the saw performs beautifully.

Blade that comes with it cuts well.

Constructed well, fence locks and doesn't skew.

Nice portable saw. Scale for fence adjustment A+

So far, I like this saw. The measurement scale on the fence adjustment makes it easy to set a final cut width, and I found being able to move the fence farther to the right and open it to provide additional support for wider cuts convenient.

Worst saw ever made

This saw has been a consistent let down. The blade got stuck all the way up this before I even used it, per instruction manual. I bought it off a friend who never used it so it was too late for a return. The locking fence randomly unlocks, leading your cuts to wander. So disappointed DeWalt.

It is an entry level (basic) table saw.

It is an entry level (basic) table saw. The manufacturer's settings remained upon setup. However, the kit does not include an Allen (hex key) wrench for adjustment. I suggest that a user should remove the blade height adjustment wheel to have sufficient room to maneuver the Allen wrench. I cut a PVC wall panel, which is very thin, and easily chips across uneven surfaces, but that is expected. Yet, the foregoing causes the blade guard assembly to move, too. The resulting cut usually does not matc...

This is a great deal and Dewalt is a quality piece

quality of the saw

Lowes is scamming you.

Same as several others, but this has to classify as false advertising. There is no "free gift" it adds the price of the stand in you cart but also requires you to remove it before checking out. If the "free gift" is catching your eye, go ahead and shut them because it is not real.

Customer service

First of all your customer service was outstanding! I asked a Lowe's person for help and they went out her way to get the information I requested. The Dewalt saw is just the right saw I need. Very impressed.
