Would RecommendMy other circular saw is a nice Porter Cable. I thought it was great until I tried this Dewalt. This thing is simply amazing!! It is light, versatile, and with the new 40-tooth blade I put on it, it goes through wood like a hot knife through warm butter. It also has a great brake feature, so the blade stops very quickly when I let go of the trigger. I am very, very pleased with this saw!

Would Not RecommendFirst use was a $55 piece of 1"x12"x 8 foot pine plank. Would not track straight on the 8 foot length regardless of how many attempts.....it just followed the same mis-cut, burning the edge with the blade. Removed the finish blade and put on the included blade and just figured I'd sand more. Same problem. It managed to go about 5 feet on a straight line then went off track again. Same problem with 3-5 attempts to edge it back on track....just followed the same cut no matter how many reattempts t...

Dewalt corded circular saw.
Would RecommendThis is my 3rd Dewalt circular saw, over the last 20 years, used almost everyday. All purchased at Loews. The first 2 were replaced because of abuse, not the fault of the saw. They all had a lot of mileage on them. Won’t ever buy anything but Dewalt for power tools. The quality is there. Love this saw, works very well. Very accurate in the right hands.
