What Customers Are Saying
The 10-inch grinding wheel appears to be a versatile and durable cutting tool that can handle a variety of materials, including metal, concrete, and masonry. Many reviewers found it effective for cutting through aluminum, steel, and even stainless steel. The wheel is described as long-lasting, with one reviewer noting it still had a third of its life left after making nearly 20 cuts. However, its performance may vary depending on the application, as some users reported it cut slowly or inaccurately on aluminum. The wheel also seems to perform well on concrete and masonry, but is less suitable for cutting softer materials like slate.

Would RecommendI purchased two of these Dewalt grinding wheels to cut metal studs and tracks for an outdoor kitchen. They worked like a champ! I had an inventory of approximately 20-tracks and 40-studs to build a U-shape outdoor kitchen that included built-in appliances. I never needed to replace the first grinding wheel. The decision to purchase and use this grinding wheel made this project possible.

I had several pieces of a hard plastic soffit to trim. My 10" 180 tooth blade made too many chips. This blade worked perfect and didn't load up with plastic, like I thought it may. Works great for trimming sheet metal. 12 ga or less, on my table saw...GOTTA clean all wood shavings out though so ya don't start a fire from the sparks! Bob

Durable
Would RecommendI have used a few other 4 1/2” cutting wheels and they don’t last that long. This one seemed to last a few more cuts than the others. Saves time when you don’t have to replace wheels as often.
