Broke

My first broke after 5 mins of first time use. Snap the bit holder. Return for warranty this one still good that’s why 3 star for hustle of going to return it and get new one.

#8 wobbled right out of the box !!

#8 was clearly bent before I even touched it. Of course that was the one I needed of the three! Obviously DeWalt has zero quality control. It's like selling a straight-edge that isn't straight, or a yard-stick that isn't a yard.

Trash

Stay away. All three broke at the countersink collar. It was attached with some type of epoxy.

Drill bits

The bits are perfect and do the job that they are designed to do.

snapped on day 1

After using this for about 35 screws the chuck portion snapped off from the rest. With what I paid for this I expect better, especially from DeWalt. Really disappointed.

low quality

Purchased these July 19, 2020 when I was building my work bench. Countersunk 12 holes without any problems. Then about a week ago I was using it for 8 holes and on the third hole the shank separated. Definitely not the quality I was expecting from Dewalt.

Something went wrong with this product

Like others are saying, I snapped the bit on first use. Something went wrong with the engineering or production of this product. Also had a DeWalt table saw go bad on me after a couple uses. May need to look at some other brands.

Specs are wrong

These are not high speed bits as stated on the description above.

Not durable

I will say that they were excellent bits while they worked. I used the #8 bit for one project and the quick connect portion of the drill bit came off of the bit. I would not recommend this product.

Great drill bits, but not durable enough.

I love how easily it is to adjust the length and how nicely they create a countersink. But, DeWalt needs to improve the durability of the shank. The black part of the shank breaks free of the silver drill bit and becomes completely ineffective after that. I've had to replace the #10 bit 2 times in 2 months, as it has failed after about 30-40 holes drilled in plain old pine 2x4s. Fortunately, I've been able to find the single #10 bit separately from the 3-piece set, unlike many of the previous...

Bent drills

I have been a long time fan of DeWalt tools and usually their quality is top of the line. I purchased a set of these drills and when I got to using them I found one of the drills was bent so bad it was unusable so I returned them and purchased another set. Well the second set had one of the drills with the point ground so far out of center that it was unusable too. Wouldn’t you know it was the very one I needed to use. I won’t bother to return this set but just do something else. Maybe they will...

Dewalt quality slipping?

A gift from my wife, who knows I love Dewalt because of the superior (or so I thought) quality. Snapped the #8 within the first 20 uses. This is not what I expect from Dewalt and am serious considering my brand loyalty.

Flutes too narrow!

If you want use these with stop collars or any type of jig go with fisch brad point bits! flutes are too narrow to secure stop collars and sawdust jams frequently.
