Cleaner finish

This is the first time I've used a countersink with wood screws. The completed project looks so much cleaner and professional.

brittle and brake

WHen place on a no stress angle the bit broke. Showed signs Of hydrogen embrittlement

Brad point drill bits

These are good drill bits for drilling flat bottom holes in wood. They are not for use on metal.

Worked perfect

Bought the set since I had a couple sizes I needed. Worked perfect for countersinking!

Poor Quality Drill Bits, do not buy!

Opened new package and discovered that the 5/16, 3/8 and 1/2 bit were all crooked and wobbled when turned in the drill. I also noticed that the grinding on the tips was poorly done and burs remained on all bits. As I was unable to use them, I will return to Lowes on my next trip into town. They were cheap and I thought I would take a chance on the DeWalt name - I was wrong. Clearly DeWalt quality has gone down. I would avoid these as they are very poorly manufactured.

Drill bit set

Worked as expected. However, the suggested screw size for the related drill bit size seems to suggest a size too big.

They could be a little bit longer...

Bought these to counter sink some holes for a rudimentary project I was building. The drill bit itself that created the pilot hole for the screw was really shallow and hard a hard time chewing through knots. I know the sizes are industry standards, but a little more bite would be nice!

Great brad point drills

My brad point drills were getting pretty old and dull. Stopped by my local Lowes and they had these at a good price. Have now relegated the old ones to the To be sharpened when I get the chance bine,

Good bits

Making a bookshelf and needed to predrill the holes. These drill bits were perfect for what I was doing. Made the job easy and precise. Easy to control and perfect depth setting for the screw heads. Very good product, would recomend them.

Solid item

Used several times (mostly 1/8 size) on hard woods. No issue. Very precise hole, no wobble.
