Would RecommendNeeded a 5/8” to drill a home in the frame of my 4-wheeler. This size is not normally included in drill bit sets, so I bought it separately. It was very expensive for a single bit snot $17.00. The bit did the job nicely. I was able to use it in a battery operated drill. It remained sharp as I drilled through tough vehicle frame steel.

Incorrectly listed shank size
The description for the bit indicate on 11/32" shank size which is slightly smaller than 3/8", the maximum size my drill chuck will accept. It turns out the shank size is much nearer to 1/2" and hence unusable in my drill. I wasted about 45 minutes and a drive across town to learn the 'specifications' of this bit are incorrect.

Would Not RecommendA 45 mile round trip wasted. The online description of this bit claims it has an 11/32 inch shank. That is specifically what I was looking for since my drill has a 3/8 inch chuck. I ordered the bit on line for in store pickup. When I picked it up I measured the shank before leaving the store and it has a 1/2 inch shank. Anyone know how to get the online description fixed?
