Nice little saw

Really good Power and with both the batteries I was able to use all day. Very little kickback.

Good saw, got a great deal on saw + battery

I was going to buy this on sale for $149. The battery wasn't included. Then I saw the combo recommendation for saw with battery + blade + square for $349. The saw comes with a blade already, so I don't need that. I clicked on the battery to see what that was - $200, very pricey. BUT it said there was a free gift with battery purchase. The free gift turned out to be the actual saw itself! So I got the saw + battery for $200 plus tax. Sometimes you just get lucky.

Not a long battery life

It really uses up the battery fast, but powerful

Great saw

Didn't realize the 60V made such a difference. Rafter ha ger is actually useful! Performs well, quite powerful with surprisingly low weight, even with the larger battery. Able to use it one-handed at odd angles.

Died in six months

After having my saw of 12 years give up on me went for something that I thought would be better. Used it to make small cuts to remodel my bathrooms and worked well. Been on the shelf since. Took out today to cut a 2x12 and didn't make it through the board. Now will not run at all. Took to the store and they gave me a number and said they could not help me with ay warranty. Called the number and they said they could not find anything about me. So not going so well.

Very disappointed it worked less than two months and Lowe’s won’t exchange it so stuck with a saw that doesn’t work at all

It doesn't spin

I used it 2 times for cutting plywood, and now it doesn't spin and makes a clicking sound from what I checked online that's a common problem with these brushless circular saws, something related to the brake pretty disappointed with Dewalt.

Part-time use

While this circular saw is nice and easy to operate, it is quite annoying that the battery drains quite quickly. Even for the small project jobs I'm using it for, I often have to switch out batteries when I'm ripping multiple pieces of lumber. If I was doing 1" or less stuff it would be great but it's a circular saw, I'm cutting thicker stuff...the battery should be able to handle it. This is all my non-professional, part-time handy-woman, full-time farmer POV.
