Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT XR POWER DETECT 20-volt Max 7-1/4-in Brushless Cordless ( Battery Not Included and Charger Included)

Worth it

Strong saw good battery life

Great saw, but doesn't last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVED this saw. Until it stopped working. First off, I have had nothing but good things to say about this saw. Build quality felt solid, it cuts great, it's precise, I love the blade brake, the beam hook is an nice touch.... this saw is a dream. It's a great little workhorse. I've recommended it to several people. Unfortunately, this saw seems to have a major build defect, which has now showed up in two saws. I bought one of these a fe...

Never again

Well I’m in the middle of remodeling our upstairs bathroom and I’m a Milwaukee guy as that’s what most of my tools are. I figured I’d try out dewalt and saw a decent kit with the 574 saw. We live about an hour and a half away from the closest lowes, so when we go there we get everything we need and now I get home I ran the saw for about 5-6 minutes went and fully charged the battery and now the brake acts like it’s sticking. I double checked the battery took the blade off, all sorts of stuff and...

Good quality but items missing

Great product at great price. Be sure to check your boxes, mine was missing the charger when I picked it up from the store.

Nice saw

Saw performed great. Never had a cordless circular saw and won’t go back to a corded one. This saw is light weight , well balanced and has a nice sound to it - not a loud ear piercing sound of an old circular saw. Cuts smooth. Started building my garage and it’s been useful but I haven’t used it enough to run the battery down. So I just grab it and cut. I use a speed square and run it along for 2bys - and follow a 4’ T square for plywood. Cuts so good. Have to rate this high but like I said - I ...

Great tool

Works better than expected

Better than M18 Fuel thats for sure

Definitely a big difference in performance and feel. I'm a big Milwaukee guy but Dewalt takes the W on this one.

junk

Saw ran great, as long as you didn't put the blade on. Install the blade ,ran for second and stopped. Internal problems with brake I assume, but got me gun shy of buying any Dewalt tool. very disappointed.

Great product cordless best part

Very easy to use love it

Awesome saw!

The saw is a powerful tool! And the fact that I can use all my 20v batteries is a huge plus over being limited to only flex volt batteries.

Great price,

first of all this is a great sale for a full kit 8Ah battery, charger, blade, and bag for the same price as the bare tool with blade , so right off the bat how can you go wrong, with this one. and the power detect is a good tool. if you are looking for a circular saw get it now
