Would RecommendThis package came with everything needed. I hate dealing with power cords, especially with power saws. This saw has enough power to effortlessly cut through old seasoned hardwood with battery power. It's a great deal too, with one 8ah 20v battery, a fast charger and DeWalt carry bag included.

Won’t work with battery provided
Would Not RecommendBrand new DCS574 won’t work with 8ah battery that came in the box. The saw works with other Dewalt batteries I own, and the 8ah battery works with other Dewalt tools. Very frustrating—I already threw away the box and expect a hassle getting this rectified. Stay tuned.

DeWalt circular saw review
Would Not RecommendDeWalt makes great tools especially there impacts, but they continue to miss the mark on circular saws, it's Heavy along with the ergonomics of the saw and overall feel in my hand was not what I expected for the price. the power is about the same as any other 20v saw in my opinion. I'm returning this unit.

Perfect starter combo pack for versatile woodcuts!
Would RecommendI needed one of these as a new homebuyer with lots of DIY wood cutting needed for some flooring. I had no DeWalt batteries so I got this combo kit and it treated me very well! I was able to measure everything and get clean cuts for the floors. It's very stable and for a cordless circular saw, it's got an incredible amount of power! I'm no connoisseur of saws, but as far as I'm concerned, it was a perfect buy.

Faulty trigger/brake
Would Not RecommendThese saws have a known issue w/ the brake not disengaging when you pull the trigger. Mine broke after 6 months of light use. And DeWalt does not make warranty claims easy. Would not recommend.
