DeWalt Radio

Just retired and this was on my bucket list..... I then bought the 6 tool kit.... thrilled with both.

Poor Quality

Purchased one last year worked great for a couple of month; then worked intermittently and stopped charging the battery. Returned it and got another one...well again worked for couple of months. If left plugged in it turns on and off on its own and ruined a 20 volt battery. I have several other Dewalt products and have always had great service, but avoid this radio!

Awesome radio

I bought the old 20 volt radio new when it came out. I loved it. But the sound always seemed a lil weak for my liking. When this came out i was torn between it and the tough systems one because a GC on a job i was subbing on had the tough one. Both are awesome radios. But I'm extremely happy with this one. Its only a little bigger than the old model but you can feel when you pick it up the things a beast and a much higher quality device... So yeah. I highly recommend it to any one.

Excellent Radio

My wife bought me the radio for my birthday two years ago. I use it on job sites 5 - 6 days a week inside and out. It is great to have a good sounding radio, that will run off a battery and charge my phone, can run off ac and rapid charge my batteries and also is Bluetooth. I’ve dropped it from around 6 feet multiple times. I even accidentally left in out overnight when it rained heavy all night. I had to open the whole thing to let it dry out for 3 days. That was a year ago and it still works ...

Horrible radio

I’ve bought all of Dewalts radios and was excited to find this with built-in Bluetooth. The design is poorly thought out and you cannot control the audio volume via your phone when connected. You must physically turn the knob on the radio itself. This makes it useless for my use. You should have to return to the radio every time you need to adjust the volume. Ugh.

Good quality. Built strong!!

Well made. Amazing sound at high volume. Sound dosn’t crack at highest setting. Love the features. My most favorite feature is the bottle opener.

Love it can listen to radio charge battery pack and cell phone all at once!

Boom box for relaxing and craft shows

I know i am not using it at a job site but my dad has some dewalt tools and for Christmas he got me the radio because I was having issues keeping my Bluetooth speakers and portable chargers charged so i asked for Christmas for this radio because i love how i can listen to my music on my phone or radio and cahrge my devices if we don’t have outlets for charging or if we don’t have power in the house because of weather. The only thing I’m bummed about is that I cannot charge off the ac outlets too...

Perfect for the Drive-ins

This little thing is wonderful, it sounds great, is super light and even has a bottle opener. Perfect for parties, working in the garage and works great for the drive ins. Sounds super clear and has good bass. I love it for using the radio and Bluetooth while I’m working on something and my girlfriend loves it for the USB port to charge her phone. I like the feature where you plug it and you get a battery charger and you get 2 outlets to plug other things into.

Junk radio

Got this radio for Christmas in 2016 will only work on battery. Will not work being plugged in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using this radio on jobs for about 6 months now. Has never given us any problems. We listen to it everyday. It’s rugged, gotten wet, been in mud, basically everywhere around the job site. It’s awesome being able to throw a battery on it to charge or even run it cordless. The bonus outlets are always in use as well. This is such a great product and work everyday wouldn’t be the same without it.

Amazing sound quality!

But when our speaker system blew for our projector inside we divided to get another one for that. Hooked it up and our movie experience immediately got waaay better! The base that comes through really makes a difference. We love this Radio!

Decent sound but missing key features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound is decent for a work site radio, the bluetooth range is not awesome, but if you have a clear unobstructed path of 50 feet it will reach. If I were to buy a different one it would be the T stack one

No luck with the 026

Worked for a couple month and then wouldnt charge or even turn on. Tried one more and the same thing happened. I didn’t need to replace my 012. Just wanted the new look and blue option. Purchased my 12 in 08 and still no issues.

Don't buy

I've had this radio about a year, was good until one day I plugged it in and wouldn't come on. Only way this boat anchor will work is with the battery. Everything else works, plugs on the side even work if plugged in. But wont work if no battery and wont charge a battery. This will be my last dewalt radio there junk.
