In addition to providing great sound, these things could pull double duty as black boxes on doomed airliners. One time I forgot about one in the back of my truck and it bounced out and got smoked by a loaded horse trailer doing 60. I stopped and went back for it, expecting to find more broken pieces of plastic and lithium than a Beverly Hills rehab clinic, but instead found a radio that’s only problem was it had somehow turned on to a station playing god awful new country.

Makes Sound

This is $5 worth of speakers in a $94 plastic box. You're paying for the name and that it can use a Dewalt battery. It makes sound, but certainly not $99 of quality sound. Attached is a picture of the speakers inside it. I'm guessing you could find much better replacement speakers and swap them out if you were so inclined. I I might actually try that just for kicks.

Perfect fro working outside

This radio is perfect for working outside. Good sound quality. 2AM Battery will last all day. I actually keep it on my nightstand if not working outside.

More than 100’, almost 400’!

Love this thing! I work in a 400’ long pumping plant with lots of steel and concrete, the signal from my iPad is received clearly almost 400’ away. I do have occasional issues with connection if I turn it off and back on from that long of a distance, but once reconnected, it keeps connected. Keep a spare 4amp 20v Battery handy and rock at max volume all week! It has taken some good hits and bounced, not damaged. Good for about a year

bluetooth randomly disconnects requiring a power cycle to reset it. decent besides that issue that started at about the 1 year mark. 2amp battery gets you a solid 7-10 hrs of play time. its never been dropped and looks clean enough to be new before anyone thinks it was poor handling, it lived indoors its whole life lol.

Cool Bluetooth Speaker

This speaker comes through time after time, no problems pairing with my phone so far. This speaker doesn't blare through the room and adds perfectly enough sound to enjoy your music while working. I love my DeWalt speaker!!

Awesome, but could be better

Quite impressed with this speaker right out of the box. Sounds good and it's fairly loud. Range is outstanding too. I left it out in the rain one night. Not heavy rain, just light, consistent rain for about 4 or 5 hours. I could do this with just about any electronic device and not have too many issues. Great speaker for the size and money.

Great bluetooth speaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great bluetooth speaker for the jobsite, not to big and just loud enough. Wish it had a waterproof rating,but just make sure to not let it get wet.

Stoped working

Got this for Christmas as a gift from the union carpenters worked great for only 5 months then it started turning off. Never got a battery for it only used the power cord.

Love it

As stated in the title. Great durable speaker. The ability to use the batteries as well as charge electronics is awesome. Highly recommend. When I was picking it up, another customer told me he has one and I would love it as well.

Good BT speaker BUT

Great little speaker Pros: good sound, small and light, rugged, usb feature Cons: I wish it could have a radio option, too bad it does not have a charger feature.

This thing rocks!

Pumps out plenty of sound for your small job site. I used it when installing laminate flooring in a basement bedroom and could hear it outside when I was cutting boards. Very nice to have the flexibility of corded or cordless as well.

I was given this by a friend who got 2 for his birthday. He has other product by DeWALT and they have apps for them it would be nice if there was an app for this to.

Amazing speaker

I had been looking for a nice speaker for work for everyday use that would last charge after charge. This speaker is worth the money, it’s lightweight and sturdy. I have a lot of dust and weather conditions that expose it to the elements and it works. There is good clarity wether it’s hooked up by Bluetooth or via usb/ auxiliary. The only downfall about it is that it does slightly slide around in my work truck but I expected that and resolved with a small bungee cord.
