Bright and easy to use

This light has been flexible in its uses in more ways than one. I’ve used it to light up a computer keyboard because I still need to be able to see the keys. I’ve used this to light up a dark corner. It stands well on its battery and hangs from its hook. It’s more of an area light then a spotlight which is what I would need.

This thing is invincible

I had this thing mounted to the front of my dirt bike and went down a hill climb and couldn't stop in time and had me and my bike fly into a tree and at 15 to 20 miles a hour and the light is where it hit the tree head on and it got ripped off and battery flew but the light didnt even have a scratch on it and works perfectly fine still unlike my knee which needed 17 stitches.

Plenty of light

Provides plenty of light for crawl spaces and basements, pivoting head helps to get into tight places.

Very bright light!

This area light does exactly what the name states, very bright light that illuminates whatever room or space your in. You can either set it on the ground and articulate the head or use the hook at the top on numerous places. I have been using this light for a few years now and I'm very pleased with this product!

Best overall light

I have all the DeWalt handheld lights. If I could buy only one this would be it. It throws light over a broad area and is very bright. It's great under a cabinet, hood of a car, in a crawl space or attic, and awesome for camping.

Great everyday work light!

Surprisingly bright and durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this for a while, and like most of the tools I own I use them very roughly. I dropped this light from 35 ft and it didnt even flinch. Still works flawlessly. The fact that the light also bends backwards is very nice to get into some tricky spots.

Area light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for the sole purpose of using it while tent camping. Light weight so it hung at the highest point of our tent. Lights up our entire tent. So bright that I had to use the lower setting so that it wasn’t so bright. Also works as a spot light. Again, very bright.

Outstanding light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this up from Napa a few weeks ago. I have a 4aH battery that I am using with my 20v system. Used the light for about 4 continuous hours, and the battery still showed “full”. The light itself is fantastic. Really illuminates the area well. If you don’t have one of these lights, stop what you are doing and get one.

Nice light

The head is heavy enough that the light will rip over if you try to stand it up on the battery and angle the head up or down. I switched to a 6AH battery and it's much better but still tippy. Top Notch Area light for service work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light is great for any service industry. As an electrician I use it anywhere and everywhere mainly working in panels and attics. This light is so good that I know the model number by heart because I recommend in so much. Now that's saying something!!!

Great light but....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own about 4 of these and about 6 of the old florescent version. The led is a definite upgrade but could use a better detect on the flex head. It will become too loose and not hold firm when needed.

It’s perfect for nighttime work

Compact

Compact and bright the Hook make easy to hanging. the only thing should come with the belt clip!

Died after two hours of use

Junk. After two hours of use the light died, I went ahead and swapped the battery with a freshly charged one, it turned on for a few seconds and turned off. I then decided to put my batteries on a Dewalt drill and surprise they worked. Don’t buy this expensive piece of junk, your better off with a real plugin drop light.

super handy work light

I have always known these as drop lights or work lights, not so much flashlights because it does not produce a beam, it lights up a wide area. It balances itself very well on the battery which you can't do with a corded drop light. i've dropped it several times with no issues, it's a solid built tool.

Long lasting durability

Amazingly handy

The Only Light You Will Need
