Would RecommendPicking a brand of tool that you will be stuck with for life is a hard choice with this investment. I'm thrilled with the quality of these tool. The batteries last long, the tools are very comfortable to hold, and it's clear that these are built to last.
Best starter set, no useless tools
Would RecommendMost 4+ piece tool sets come with at least one useless tool, such as a flashlight. This set includes six useful tools: drill, impact drill, oscillating tool, reciprocating saw, sander, and circular saw. The rolling canvas duffel is icing on the cake. These may not be the extreme versions of the DeWalt tools, but they will work well in any home use environment. I bought the set for my nephew for his 19th birthday as a starter tool set, and I fully expect him to have it for the next 20 or 30 years...

Nicely designed tools, underpowered batteries
Would RecommendTools seem thoughtfully designed and well made. Love the ability to change out saw blades on reciprocating saw and vibrator tool without Allen keys and that the circular saw has one on board. The batteries are very underpowered, however, and due into the middle of the job every time.
