I like that both come with lights, very convenient when working in dark area. Fast charging time (around 1h) and a large storage bag, you can put more tools in it. I bought it on recommendation after research. My drill bits didn't hold tightly and I had to break one in the wood because the drill wouldn't grab it enough to reverse out. I went over the directions hoping I was missing something but never found a resolution.

So I was feeling pretty good about my purchase until a day later I open the taped dewalt box it was missing the charger and of the belt clips one had already been installed on the impact an obvious return product the other was you guessed it missing also instead of a compact brushless drill it was much larger I think who ever returned it put an older model dewalt in the box and kept the brushless compact drill. I will be returning it and demanding a new unreturned product.

Great features but possible faulty clutch
I bought a week before Father's Day 2026 and used it on a few occasions. Nothing difficult. Hardest job was using the drill/driver to screw down four 3" stainless steel screws to secure a replacement toilet flange. Worked like a charm. Then yesterday morning I installed a flag pole on the wood trim above my garage door. The pilot holes went off without a hitch, but when I tried to screw down the four wood screws the clutch would not remain locked on the last bit, even after the usual click-lock ...
