Would RecommendMy smaller DeWalt impact drill could not drill anchor bolt holes in a concrete patio slab. I went to Lowe's and bought this larger model. The drill didn't have any problems drilling the four 1/4" holes in a minute.

Easy on the battery
Would RecommendSo far I am real happy with the performance of this battery powered roto hammer. It demo’d a 10x14 section of 2 to 2-1/2” asphalt that was failing with 1 5ah battery and it still had 1 bar left. Hopefully it will hold up to the remaining demo projects I have on my plate

Would RecommendI originally thought this would be underpowered for the job but bought it anyway. There is a 4x4 post sunk in concrete attached to my privacy fence I was replacing. Sledgehammers and breaker bars wouldn't work and I needed to get the old one out without making the hole too big. This drill with the right bit slid through the concrete with ease. Most importantly, it is light enough to maneuver even while laying prone and pushing it down. Other reviews said this would eat through batteries but...

Would Not RecommendIn the product overview of this tool it states its an XR but in fact it is not, I don't believe this should be marketed as an XR dewalt power tool given the fact its clearly not

Would Not RecommendI went into my local lowes today and purchased this tool, the tag and stickers all say that it's an XR 20v sds hammer drill, when I got home and opened it I realized that it is in fact NOT a XR tool, nowhere on the box or tool does it say XR, I own almost all XR dewalt power tools for the extended battery life, I'm a little disappointed that lowes would market this tool as a XR instead of just 20v max, I really believed that I was purchasing an XR hammer drill, if dewalt does not make this in XR...

It slowed to a stop
Would Not RecommendAfter doing a great job 3 times, the 4th time, it just slowed to a stop. No idea why. Switched battery. No joy. Checked all my batteries. All fine. Switched between modes. Nothing. Larry at my local Lowe's made the return process super easy. that's the only reason I gave it two stars. Disappointed in the product. Maybe I just got the last one made on Friday.
