With shoulder and arm pain turning a wrench was painful this tool is helpful powerful enough to loosen not strip bolts

Great tool. I installed a high lift garage door and used this tool for two days. Lots of power and batteries last a long time. There was a special if you buy this tool at Lowe’s you get an extra free battery. They were out of stock and I was told they did not do rain checks. Finally got someone to make a decision and hopefully I can pick it up in May.

Great tool for almost any job. Can remove lug nuts but I don’t think it has enough torque to tighten them to required safety levels.

Not powerful as claimed...

Got it because of sale and needed an kmpact for ease on competing my wooden fence and gate project. It was supposed to be used as multi purpose driver for screws as well as lag bolts for future projects around my home. Only disappointment was the claimed torque, which had a lot to be desired. Still, I was able to complete my project as is. For DIYers like me, this will be plenty powerful enough but, if you really need that claimed torque, you'll have to spend a lot more for heavier duty impact d...

Torque Specs

Specifications on the website says 200 ft-lbs max and the manual that came with it says 125 ft-lbs max.

1hr tool quit working all together

Used for moderate auto work nothing heavy or extremely tight after 1hr of use it just quit no lights nothing

Small workhorse

This 12V MAX impact wrench is great for the agile contractor who want to travel lighter. If your main job is driving fasteners that use sockets instead of bits, you should get a IMPACT WRENCH instead of the impact driver. The new 2Ah LiIon batteries are WAAAAAY BETTER than the older 1.2Ah ones, and with a BRUSHLESS tool, it seems to last three times longer with more power throughout (of course, in my opinion). This small little inpact is great and will be used for a lot time and will be a great tool

Gets the job done.

Use this impact at work and also working on vehicles. Pretty strong little thing for being just a 12v impact. Def won't replace the 18v or 20v tools but it has its uses.

Excellent for around the home and I believe it would make a great mechanic’s tool.

Better than expected

After reading several mixed reviews I decided to purchase one and try it out myself. This little impact was able to break loose 150ft lb lug nuts. Max torque is spec'd at 200ft lbs or 2400in lbs. at which this tool is rated to do half of its max which is 100ft lbs. There are bad reviews but I assume that these bad reviewers are expecting to break loose 200ft lbs. These little impacts are awsome for egr,snugging bolts and all round general Mechanics use, they hold up well and batteries hold up well also! would highly reccomend for auto use.. I own 2 of these guns with one kept clean for internal Motor Home use and love them.

So good Dewalt is giving automotive technicians a choice between Snapon( f’’’ing expensive) and Milwaukee(too brutal and heavy for small jobs), this has been my tool of choice since I bought it, but will not take wheels off, and will not removed some suspension bolts, can’t wait for the Dewalt DCF903GJ1G1 ,12 V, 3/8 and up to 400 ftlb of break away force.
