Would RecommendThe DeWalt 1/4" Impact is an outstanding tool. I bought this one as a Birthday gift for a friend and she loves it. I have two of the in my home, one in the garage and one with a assortment of bits (fastening bits and drill bits) in a case in our walk-out basement. They are just so useful for drilling and fastening.

Drill randomly stops working
Would Not RecommendSecond time I've bought this drill and it will be the 2nd time i return it. Right out of the box was drilling a secrew into a stud through sheet rock, as soon as the screw encounters resistance the drill just dies. Even used a fully charged battery, same issue. I really wanted to like this drill, but i can't. Moving on to a different brand.
The impact is very compact much smaller.
Use the 20 V Dewalt impact driver every day around my house for something. Love the torque and lots of light coverage. it was a great value.
