Excellent drill. Light and easy to use. Long lasting battery, good power.

Christmas gift for myself

My old craftsman battery drill/driver failed and due to age does not have replacement available. Looking at which drill or driver i might use I selected the 20volt driver based on my use. This is for house hold use and around the yard outdoor use I like the ability to change bits/drills without using a chuck.

Impact

The Dewalt is a perfect tool for tire changes, stubborn bolts and heavy duty bolts that are a struggle to break free. Used it to mount a lift kit in a truck and works great in stubborn factory bolts.

Quality

DeWalt quality, what's not to love, you get what you pay for.

Have used the impact driver a few times since I bought it and used a friends also before I bought my own. When we hung a complete kitchen full of cabinets I knew I had to have one. They came on sale and I got it. Already planning more projects to use it.

Best screw gun I have ever owned

Over the years I've had just about every kind of battery operated tool there is. Where this one is definitely the best I've ever had it's just a little better than another one that I've had for years but with that said it is better. The balance the torque and the quickness of the battery charging is awesome. Is the only DeWalt tool I own but with the specials that are going on at Lowe's I plan on upgrading and buying some more DeWalt equipment.

Stands up to abuse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this impact, as a mechanic I’ve used it daily, and finally wore one out after almost 5 years, even with tool trucks coming to visit I didn’t even consider replacing it with anything other than the same tool. I have the 1/2” brushless as well, and between the two I haven’t needed an air tool in years.

Awesome Powerful impact

Life saver

DeWalt impact driver review

I bought this impact driver for work and use it everyday. I mainly use it with a socket adaptor (1/4" and 3/8" drive) and use it where I can to speed up the process. Plenty of tork. So far so good!
