Really like the range on the clutch. You could go from assembling electronics to driving hinge screws into virgin wood without stripping the threads. Probably get by driving deck screws also but I wouldn’t want to tackle building a deck with it. Best Compact Driver B/C of its Features

Finally put aside my ignorance for 12v brick battery tools when I tested this out in store. I always figured why make a compact tool and not have the battery built into the grip otherwise just use a 18-20v if the brick battery is your style. Don’t underestimate Dewalt’s 12V platform.

I don’t like to use too much tool when I don’t have to. I do a lot of furniture assembly and wall mounting for work, and this puppy rocks. It has more than enough power and fits into much tighter spots than my previous go-to 20V.

I have a lot of 20V DeWalt tools. I was hesitant to buy this 12V. But I’m very glad I did. You’re not going to drive hundreds of long deck screws with this. But that’s not what it’s for. Wow, this drill is AMAZING! Perhaps it's because it's my first "real" (expensive) drill I've ever purchased, but wow. It is hands down incredible. SUPER smooth, with unbelievable control. Broke at 9 months - Warranty is a joke

I used this light duty on industrial printers for 9 months. All T20 work and below, very low power stuff. The clutch/teeth/collet section stopped working. The online warranty service states the unit is under warranty but they do not repair this model. I contact support directly and they refer me to the website to schedule a repair that doesn't exist as an option. Now they won't respond. This is my last DeWalt. Milwaukee's warranty service is amazing and their tools are 10x more durable. Buy once...

Solid Power Screwdriver

Excellent power driver.

Good for low torque applications.

Most people already have a drill and impact driver, this fills the gap between a handheld manual screwdriver and the drill. Since it's lightweight it helps reduce fatigue when all you are doing is driving or removing small screws. Good little tool

I read some reviews complaining the this tool would not hold a small bit. After looking at the tool they complainers are using the wrong type of bits. The bits must have a grove about 3/8 of an inch down the shaft to lock into the chuck. So it’s an operator error on those complainers.

Perfect Companion

Perfect compliment to your 20v line. Can do some of the same work as the 20v, but the 20v tools are too brutal for the delicate stuff this drill performs perfectly on. If you're a DIY Dad/Mom, this is all you need.
