Would RecommendI got this tool as a free gift for purchasing a battery set. I really wanted the smaller circular saw, but this was all they had available. I have used it a few times and, though a drywall saw is a bit faster, this worked great. A little less messy due to how fast you can tear thru the stuff with it.

Would Not RecommendI have nothing but Dewalt tools. So, am dedicated to them. Not having a variable speed on this really bothers me on the function. There are many circumstances where full speed isn't just needed and slow and steady performs the best. I hate having to pull out my Dremel to do the job instead. AT least Milwaukee has a version that has a variable speed option. Seems Dewalt is always a step behind. I have way too many Dewalt tools and batteries just to switch over at this point.
