These are a very nice improvement over the lights we previously used on our deck... nice styling and they really glow.

Poor performance

Cheap NiCad batteries only provide a couple hours of light. You need to replace with nihm batteries if you want light all evening.

Lights work great because the are two batteries. Most other light only have one

This solar light is gorgeous. I love the copper and the light is nice and bright. Highly recommend this one!

Avoid!

Installed 2. One hardly lights at all. The other doesn’t work. Looking for replacements now.

Solar Post Deck Lights

We have had some of these lights on our deck for the past 10 years or so. They have performed well. The two that I just purchased were to replace two of them that were no longer functional.

Post light that provides light!

I bought this for a new replacement fence for one destroyed by Hurricane Michael. With the sun blocking tress gone a solar light was welcome to the area of our property. Both of these lights have over the last 2 week functioned quite well and provide adequate light to this area. We are considering 2 more for the other side of our property.

Did not work for me

I put this on a power post I installed next to my driveway. In all fairness, I don’t get a lot of direct sun in that area. It did not work for me.

Looks good.

This is my 2nd one and it doesn’t work either. It’s been a couple of weeks since buying but it has been rainy but I also feel it’s had time to charge up. I have another one that’s working fine but it’s been here over a year, was here when I bought the house and it works. It gives off a fair amount of light that’s why I like it. Will return in a week if it continues not working.

Not a good choice

I purchased over 2 dozen of these for my deck three years ago. The second year, I had to replace batteries in over half. Now, three quarters of them do not work even after replacing the batteries again.

Exceeded My Expectations!

I always read reviews from the bottom up, as I've learned to take them with a grain of salt and also sceptical when it comes to solar powered lights. Out of the box, removing the tabs on the batteries and being sure the batteries are in postion after doing so, as I did run into a light not working and had to open it up & snapped the batteries back in & vola it worked. Quality Product - Real Copper Top - Affordable

We purchased 6 of these Solar LED Deck Post Caps several years ago and installed them on a pond pier. The lights have performed well. Recently a very strong wind storm lifted the top of one of the post caps and carried it into the pond.
