Looks Great lasts a couple of years

I have 10 of these lights installed on the house handicap ramp and front deck. Once fully charged they are bright and stay lit all night. They add a finishing touch to the 4x4 posts and light the ramp all night. They have been installed for 2 years now, this year had to replace 2 of the 10. I tried replacing the batteries in the 2 that stopped working but the lights actually had failed and had to replace both the units.

Outdoor Lighting

Does exactly what i need it to do. Dim Lighting, looks nice, seems durable. time will tell.

Great light

Have 6 of these and they look great. Nice soft light. Found out if it fails to illuminate it may be the batteries have poor contact and an easy fix. I would definitely recommend.

Copper post solar lights

Really adds a lot of pizazz to our porch handrail & porch overall. Very nice lighting option for the steps. Works well & looks great.

Worth the price

Fits perfectly onto a 4x4 post. Puts out plenty of light, and lasts through the night. Make sure when you instal to remove the base remove the tabs for the batteries. There is a small trim of wood around the base, make sure to treat that wood.

They just dont work!!!!

I bought four of these for my new deck, and the direction said that after 72 hours, the batteries would charge, and the caps would light. Well, it has been a WEEK, and still no illumination! Don't waste your money!!!!

Eh

bought one of these yesterday so we could test out how it would work for us. it seemed really bright initially when we had it in a dark room. however, when we put it up on the post, most of the light is shining out to the sides, rather then projecting down, so they don't quite work for what we wanted it for. Which was to illuminate parts of our yard from the fence post. it looks pretty, but doesnt really have much practical use. if we had it on a deck or by the gate it might perform better, sinc...

Finish

The copper on the top doesn't keep it's finish like the post caps do.

Awesome lights and AMAZING customer service!

We purchased these lights 8 years ago. Loved them for several years. Then over the last three years or so they started failing. Replaced batteries to no avail. Great Customer Service

We paid $30 each for these post caps a couple years ago. After one season, the finish had worn and they looked horrible - beyond just a natural patina. We decided they needed replaced, but took a chance on contacting Deckorators first. We received excellent service and they sent us a all new lights! We were also directed toward the proper way to care for them by waxing them to keep the finish in shape. After our initial disappointment with the product we were pleasantly surprised by the service...

Doesn't Work :(

Bought two. Directions say allow 72 hours to fully charge. 3 weeks later they still don't work. I'll be taking back for refund.

Bright, and great quality for the price!

I bought two of these, to install on the new gateposts in our expanded back yard. I placed them 4 feet apart, 6 ft off the ground. The instructions call for 72 hours for full charge on the solar batteries. A little over 24 hours after installation, I was impressed to see them producing enough light to illuminate the ground around the entire gate area for several feet. They are very easy to install, including easy activation of the provided batteries. The design is attractive, and gives very good...

Not what I was expecting

We bought two for our new fence gate. Installed as instructed where the sun hits for at less 7 hours. The light came on at dark but only lit for about hours. Was hopping for a longer time to stay lit. So far I have had it for a week and still only stays lit for about 4 to 5 hours. I will be taking the 2nd one back.

Mail Box Top

Have had one of these for about a year and a half on my mailbox post. Puts out light almost all night and into the morning when I leave for work. As with all solar lights, I replaced the cheap batteries that came with for Duracell rechargeable batteries. The copper is showing that greenish tone, but after a year and a half of being in the elements that is to be expected.

DO NOT BUY

Simply did not work. Bought a second one, did not work. I gave up.
