What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the authentic wood-like appearance, exceptional durability, and comfort of this composite decking. The natural grain and rich Sierra grey tone look far more realistic than cheaper alternatives, with many noting the clean, seamless edge trim design. Reviewers consistently highlight that the surface stays remarkably cool underfoot even in direct sun, allowing barefoot walking in peak summer heat. The textured surface provides excellent traction for rainy conditions and high-traffic areas. Installation is straightforward with lightweight material and hidden fasteners praised as worth the investment. Most customers report no flex on 12-inch centers and minimal scratches comparable to traditional wood. A few mention slight color undertones or isolated warping, but overall, reviewers consider this product a worthwhile, long-lasting investment.

Would RecommendThe deck boards are good. Lowes lied about the delivery date 4 times (-1 point). Deckorators, a brand of UFP Industries, maintains a customer service line with nice people who can't tell you anything (-1 point). They did put me in touch with the middle man, Russin Lumber. Russin was able to tell me what boards they had in stock. I cancelled my order and choose a different color. Lowes has to way to change a color once ordered. I would take away another point, but the deck boards are very ...

Would RecommendThis is a terrific product with great traction under foot and just enough variation in grain. You should definitely lay out the decking first and the arrange as you wish to mix the grain and color.

Boards Shrank
Would Not RecommendInstalled Deckorators Voyage decking that is supposed to be mineral base and have significantly lower thermal expansion than traditional composite decking material. After 2 years the decking shrank significantly leaving large gaps at the end of the boards. Contacted the company and they denied our warranty claim stating that we should have pinned the boards at the midpoint or the sub-structure expanded. The boards are gapped at both ends so securing at the midpoint would provide no benefit an...

Overall, I thought that this was a great product. I installed on 12" centers simply based on comments from other people who installed composite decking. With 12" centers, the deck boards are solid as a rock! The color and texture is wonderful, we love the way it looks, and the extra traction that the texture provides. We had some of the 20' boards warp before installation, but I suspect that may have been due to them sitting in my yard four a couple of months before installation. If you ins...
