What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these deck posts for exceptional sturdiness, durability, and ease of installation. The aluminum construction resists rust and delivers long-lasting, low-maintenance performance compared to wood. Many highlight straightforward assembly with predrilled mounting holes and user-friendly installation. The professional appearance and clean lines complement composite decking systems beautifully. A few report minor cosmetic issues or missing hardware, though most still recommend the product. Overall, reviewers consider them a superior, reliable choice for deck projects.

Would RecommendI recently installed a full Deckorators handrail to the stairs in front of my house that included these posts. I installed my posts into concrete which did require obtaining my own anchor bolts. The install was vert straight forward. If you have general DIY handyman skills, the install of this is very doable. My one complaint is that the base cover plate seems to have poor QA or manufacturing. On both of the posts I installed, the caps could not meet correctly to secure. I even pulled them o...

It okay
Would Not RecommendThis product seems quite stable and looks nice. I was disappointed it did not come with suitable bolts and do not remember seeing that clearly indicated in the listing. I would also recommend caution unboxing the base plate cover. It is held together by 2 very small unsupported metal clips that shatter off at the first drop. We don’t care and we’re just going to glue it.

Solid Post - Simple Installation
Would RecommendI am satisfied with the quality of the post and the ease of installation. The post comes with a base cover and post cap, both of which are easy to install. The post's base has four predrilled mounting holes, but if you need to drill another hole, it is easy to do so. I recommend purchasing these posts for any deck.

All six posts had cosmetic damage.
Would Not RecommendAll the posts had cosmetic damage due to the way they were packaged, the cardboard collars fitted to the top of the posts wore off some of the finish. I will have to repaint as were the damage is will show above the handrails.
