Ratings & Reviews for Deckorators Voyage Surestone 1-in x 6-in x 12-ft Light Solid Composite Deck Board

Superior product!

Superior product to a standard composite. Well worth the extra coin. Cry once!

Great

Great

We used these boards for some long steps where we wanted to provide a clean edge. They worked well and are more attractive than grooved boards if the sides are visible for applications like ours.

We used these square boards for drink rails and on the outer edge of our steps. If you want to avoid having grooves visible in those types of applications, I recommend using these square boards. They are much more attractive than if you rip down the grooved boards to provide a smooth surface because the Deckorators Voyage boards have a white color when ripped down with a table saw or planer.

Horrible product & horrible customer service

I ordered 38 boards of the Sierra grey. I was told it would be 5-7 days to get the order…about 4 weeks later they shipped the boards. They were the wrong boards. Almost 8 weeks later - today i got the boards delivered. of 24 boards i went thru, 12 of them were seriously damaged, gouged, scratched etc. just unfathomable the the brain dead individuals would actually ship these boards. A horrible experience from the get-go. Canceled the entire today…boards, railings, 4x4 post, screws, caps etc. ...

Purchased for large deck

The pallet of boards arrived well packaged and without damage. There is a distinct purple undertone to the color, which may be accentuated by proximity to our blue home.

Picture frame done right.

I used the Sierra as my picture frame with the Tundra decking. It's a shade darker than the Tundra but not as dark as the picture framing boards that only came 21 feet long. What a tremendous waste of material.

Curved like a banana.

Beautiful product but every single 12 foot board was slightly curved like a banana making application a bit more challenging than a straight board. In the final deck, one half had a slight curvature when sighting down the length at a low angle. Frustrating when such care was taken along every step to ensure a professional looking job.

Great alternative

Could not order these in 12 foot lengths so had to order 16 footers. Waste of material but made a nice picture frame around the Tundra decking color. Not as wasteful as purchasing the 21 foot picture frame boards. Why can't you offer all sizes for each product?

Measure twice, cut once! Not cheap

Great traction and look

Great product

Great texture which makes for great grip. Very lightweight material.

Coming up short

Ordered 12 ft. boards. The best was 1/8" short. The shortest was 7/8" short. So if you are working with a full length just purchase a longer board and cut them to length.

Best decking out there!

This is really some of the best decking out there. I just installed this for some deck steps. It looks great, not plastic like other composite decking. I also love the grip on it, perfect for rainy days.

Measure several times to ensure that it fits

Love the look on my back deck

The best choice for a decking product by far.

100% waterproof and pressure washable.Has not faded or cracked in 6 years.Non-slip and cooler to walk on. this is a fantastic product that I believe will last forever with very little maintenance.

Great product - if you can get it

it's a great product but the company clearly isn't ready for prime time. I did both front and back decks with their products including railings (ALX for front and cable for back) and privacy fence. There were so many challenges along the way and still not done. I received an entire pallet of Voyage Khaya that was marked as Voyage Khaya but clearly wasn't. even the wrap over the pallet was marked as Voyage. it was heavily wood grain embossed. took 2 weeks for them to get that replace.
