Deck rail kit

The railing is not the easiest to work with. I do not recommend this product when the wind blows it howls very loudly and does several different pitches. It can be heard inside the house and is embarrassing if we have guests over.

These really look nice and are well made. Easy to install when using the rail kit. However, read the fine print...I missed it, but these are not 6 ft in length. If you really need 72 inches you will end up short. We had to block the ends because I really needed 72 inches. So my only complaint is the box proudly displays 6 ft but that is far from true.

Recommended and Sturdy

Very satisfied with the end product. Posts are very sturdy when blocked and installed per the instructions. Be careful when cutting rails to length because the railing sections can connectors can be a little tricky and they are slightly different than the instructional videos. Also make sure that when you order that all of the material comes in the same lot. I had to order materials from different stores due to lack of stock and the rails and post were slightly different in color and prep. ...

Great product. The kits work very well. Just’s make sure if you cut the kits into smaller pieces you get extra brackets. Nice looking strong product!!

Very Sturdy, but a few design flaws

I am really happy with this rail system, but there are a few things that could be improved. First being you are provided with the exact number of screws necessary for the install, they are square head screws so not my favorite, and decks are usually high above the ground, so you are bound to drop one, and with no spares you are going to cuss while you search for it in the abyss. Second, where corners meet on a post the screws collide inside of the post (assuming you line them up properly) offset...

Very Pleased!

These railings are beautiful. I used them on my carport instead of a deck and they look really good. My husband said they looked way better than he expected them too, (which is a wonderful complement from him). We have installed them ourselves. My husband had to use a band saw to cut them the correct size but if you can measure and cut them they are pretty easy to do it yourself.
