Would RecommendTwist the tops off and remove the plastic tabs from the batteries. Place in direct sunlight for 24 hours. That’s it. 4/5 stars because the lights are not real sturdy and cedar base is thin and cheap. Bought 5 extra because they will break/fail over time.

I was dismayed to learn that they did not come with screws and a base but instead you had to glue them to the post using silicone (something else to buy). I bought two more of these lights last week, assuming that they were identical to the last ones. However, these are different.
