What Customers Are Saying
The solar post lights have an attractive design and are generally easy to install. Customers report the lights are durable, with some lasting several years. However, some found the lighting not as bright as expected, especially in winter. A few customers experienced premature failure within a year or two. There were also some issues with the lights not fitting properly on certain post sizes.

Would RecommendEasy to install, and works for several post sizes. Worked as expected. Only minor issue was that batteries are a bit difficult to insert properly, but that is due to a very snug fit.

Still work well after 2 years in sun and cold
Would RecommendWe installed 30 of these when we upgraded our deck to TREX two years ago. Of the 30, one malfunctioned with leaking batteries, and another failed when I accidentally hit it with a leaf blower. Another 4 do not come on, probably because they are too much in the shade. The solar panels have faded some, but we are content.

It’s ok!
The instructions say to glob on liquid nail to secure this to the post. If you did that it would be difficult to change the batteries. ( in some cases ) I had to drill out a hold and add a screw to secure this. But otherwise this is a nice light with respectable illumination.

Would RecommendI've mounted two, so far and love the bright (LED) lighting. Very attractive. However, there is no option to screw these into the deck posts although screws are provided. They advise mounting with wood glue.

Crummy packaging
Would RecommendIt was not the product that I did not like, it was the shipping mess. The contents looked like someone picked two items off a garbage pile and put them in a box and shipped them out.
