Fastens tightly
Would RecommendThese screws drive very well into pre-drilled holes, and they hold lumber tight together. Because these are deck screws, I will not be using them to fasten boards in a way that will test their shear strength. These screws are meant to hold boards and sheet goods down, and they are great for that purpose.
