Not good for treated wood
Would Not RecommendThese may be great for composite boards but more than half the heads stripped when used on treated 2x4s. Note hat the box says “Recommended for treated lumber” so it isn’t just poor reading comprehension on my part. I’m making them work by drilling pilot holes but I wouldn’t recommend for wood.

Almost good
The torx feature doesn't fit well with the included T20 bit. I had a couple of them completely strip, and none of them fit securely like with other torx head deck screws I've used. Also, the self drilling feature didn't work well. I ended up splitting wood a couple of times and decided it was better to just predrill the holes. I really like the idea, but I was disappointed with the actual function. Back to regular deck screws for me.

stripped out
Would Not RecommendHIllman must have changed suppliers, as ive never had trouble with their products in the past. They stripped out using a fairly new bit. Changed bits and same results. Even drilling pilot holes didnt help. The few i was able to drive in were nearly invisible and impressive in that they dont mushroom the composite decking.

Heads and Drivers are Soft
Would Not RecommendI bought 2 1/2 and 3" sizes to build an outdoor structure out of treated pine. The coating on these screws requires tremendous torque to drive into treated lumber. The heads stripped out followed shortly by the T20 bits rounding over. The heads are small, burying themselves easily into the wood much further than I wanted them to go. I returned the screws. Lowe's accepted them back with absolutely no grief, crediting the purchase price to my credit card. Thanks, Lowe's.
