Strips too easily
Would Not RecommendNever dealt with a screw this unreliable. You can pre-drill holes all day and you’ll still end up stripping the screw 6 out of 10 times. Use anything but this!!!
Not as good as described. Very aggravating.
Would Not RecommendAbout 20% of them did not drill into the composite boards at all and many would not back out after going only halfway in and spinning in place.

Wrong bit size,
Would RecommendThis review has nothing Lowe’s could help. The bit that came with it was to big. Had to go back and get the right size. 45 minutes drive. Didn’t think to bring the issue up with CS. The screw are excellent for a lot various projects.

Predrill for ease of use
Would RecommendI predrilled, it is not easy to use without a pilot hole. Also that reverse screw likes to fill with plastic gunk and not sink flush without the pilot

Snapped screws
In using these screws, I had some that to me seemed to actually strip and just spin in the wood. As I continued my project, I actually discovered that the screws were snapping off 1/4 in from the head. Most went if fine but it is frustrating to have a snapped screw that can only be removed by removing the board and using channel locks to remove it. I was expecting better quality.

Head strips out too easy.
Would Not RecommendUsed the longer 2.5” screws with no problems. These are terrible. The head is soft and they wear out before going in all the way. Will never buy them again

Great for deck board installation.

Would Not RecommendHad multiple heads strip as they were being put in. I used an impact driver and a drill to see if it made a difference. When I decided to take out the ones that did manage to get drilled in, they stripped on the way out and I had to cut the deck board to get the screws out.
