Would RecommendThese are good screws if you are only working with composite decking with pressure treated wood structure. I was using them with a steel structure and even after pre-drilling the hole occasionally they would snap off. They worked pretty well but they were probably not the right screw for the application

Would RecommendI have used these several times on composite decking instead of the overpriced pieces that are hidden. Counter sink them and they are good to go. The color matched the clamshell composite perfect.

Pre drill and use the slower speed on your drill.
