What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these deck screws for exceptional holding power and resistance to stripping, with many calling them the best they've used for outdoor projects. The Torx star head design is repeatedly lauded for secure bit engagement and smooth driving without slippage, significantly outperforming traditional Phillips heads. Reviewers highlight the corrosion-resistant coating, suitability for pressure-treated lumber, and included driver bit as major advantages. A few report occasional coating issues or defective screws, but these concerns are vastly outweighed by widespread satisfaction and strong recommendations for decks, fences, and outdoor applications.

Would Not Recommend$9 for 50 #8 screws is a terrible deal. I wouldn’t recommend

Does the Job
Would RecommendThe builder used regular wood screws and 1" thick planks for my deck built back in 1997. The deck needed 2" thick planks and these deck screws. The screws are good; and since I am screwing within 1" from the ends, I drill 1/8" pilot holes to avoid splintering. The builder cut corners and used cheap parts whenever possible. Doing this deck right where I can, and these screws help with such.
