Would RecommendWhile remodeling my 110 year old Craftsman kitchen I discovered the sink vent pipe had just been terminated in the soffit above the sink. I extended the pipe into the attic and terminated it with this valve until summer comes when I can extend the vent pipe through the roof. Note building code does not allow admittance valves where I live, so this is just a temporary fix for me, but the valve works great. Inexpensive way to fix a drain vacuum.
Would RecommendThis product will serve to eliminate sink drainage problems caused by vacuum in the drain pipe. Very simply made product which has a butterfly type rubber flap which only allows air to flow in one direction. The only problem you might have with the valve sticking open which could cause sewage smell. Not a bad product.
