I used this product on 4 exterior windows, one covered, two in 4-6 hours of direct sunlight, and one on the shaded side of the building...all caulking molded. And I can't just easily wipe it off. Aggravating and a total waste of money and time.

Turns to mush after 6 months

I had to redo everything I used this on. After 6 months I could gently rub it off with my finger.

AMP Caulk Review for Vinyl Window Seal.

Used to replace vinyl window seal against concrete window sill. Builder used cheap caulk, did not adhere to concrete, I found saw dust on bottom of old caulk. Make sure surface is very CLEAN. Like surgical clean. I made a medium size bead and tooled/ smoothed it ONCE. This caulk is sticky and you only get 1 chance to smooth it out with your finger once. If you backtrack, or try to smooth it again, remove extra, it will look terrible.

Saves a lot of time

Does not shrink, sticks like glue to anything, very flexible. I used my finger dry or a small plastic spreader. Wipe off finger or spreader after each spread with a paper towel. Mineral spirits to clean tools or finger works very well. Use light coat of paint first, let it tack up good, then follow with wet coat. If you put the first coat on heavy it will fish eye.

Hybrid Sealant

For best results start by soaking a new sealant tube in hot water a minimum 10 minuets or longer. Sealant will flow from tube smooth & easy like warm butter making it easy to tool with one finger. This works great with spray paint cans to if you got a paint project.

Stiff to dispense

Store web sites such as Lowes will hype up their product by NOT giving all information needed on their web site. In my case I saw the Lowes web site claimed 30 minute dry time for this caulk even with low temperatures but in actuality it took more then 24 hours for my caulk to fully dry. Why was that? Because what they claim on their web site is not ALL the information on the product label. Takes long to dry in cooler weather

I purchased this for the exterior of my house door jam and since the daytime weather was in the 40s , I knew I needed something for low temperatures. First of all when I applied it instead of staying in more of a straight bead, it seemed runny, and since the surface was not level, it was trying to run off where I needed it.
