Would RecommendSeveral years ago I called DAP and complained about the metal can wood filler product, how it always dried out; and why, bringing frustrations to consumers. The corp people listened to me in a meeting, put out new products, great. But the plastic containers are too cheap and brittle; breaks apart.
Get the bigger tub for sure.

Would RecommendThe product dried quickly but not too quickly so we were able to add texture to blend with our existing cedar project. It dried solid and we were able to paint it and finish the project in the day.

Would RecommendThis putty works pretty good for larger holes, dries fast, keep it covered when using on larger jobs.
Repair water damaged doors
Would Not RecommendProduct works well to repair my water damaged doors. The problem is that I also ordered a wood hardener that came days later. Lowe's required me to come get the DAP product even thought the wood hardener was being shipped in. I had to go to Lowe's twice to get my stuff. If there are two items and one is delayed they should not force us to get them separately
