What Customers Are Saying

The product appears to have mixed reviews. While some customers found it easy to use with good results, especially for smaller projects, many reported issues with the glazing being too thin and runny, leading to poor adhesion and long curing times. Durability was also a concern, with some customers experiencing cracking or the glazing falling off over time. Proper preparation and technique seem necessary to achieve satisfactory results with this product.

Runny Mess

Would Not Recommend

Maybe I got a bad batch. My experience was nothing like some of these reviews. It was just a runny mess that ran everywhere. I replaced a pane in my garage window with a metal frame, so only Glass and metal for the glaze to stick to. The window is mounted so the glazing is inside the garage unlike a normal window. It's been 24 hours and it's still soft and gooey on the lower horizontal surface, on the vertical surfaces it basically all ran off leaving only a very thin layer. I am going t...

Easy to work with. Dried fast.

Got the job done. Dried quick. Wasted a lot. I did 32 panes, didn't get any better, smooth wise. Bought a plastic tool. It worked very well smoothing.

For those of you who are old enough to remember a time when most windows used glazing compound then you'll remember what glazing compound used to be like. Not quite as solid as say modeling clay, but close. You would kneed it in you hand to warm it up and make it a little more soft. But it did a good job. This stuff is barely the consistency of toothpaste. Runny, awful, and really useless. It's about the same consistency as DAP's cheapo "painters caulk". I spent many hours restoring a 125 y...

Very soupy and messy

Would Not Recommend

The product was very soupy and messy, the nozzle laid down a reasonable trail, but when drawing a bead with the glazing tool, the excess oozed out, attempting to remove the excess messed up the original bead, having to redo it again, but so soupy could never get a perfect bead. And the drying time is excessive, can’t touch it for days without leaving finger marks. Glazed six windows and it was very frustrating. Will revert back to original window putty.
