I haven't used glazing putty in a really long time, but I had a lot of trouble getting it to stick to the window and surrounding wood. I am just a do-it-yourselfer so I assume that a more experienced handyman would have better luck, but I don't remember it being so difficult to get it to stick. It seemed a little dried out in the container. And Lowes only had a pretty large container which was not cheap.

Pathetic
Would Not RecommendI bought the squeeze bottle with applicator to avoid having to buy a putty knife etc. The bottom of the bottle pops off before any product is dispensed from the nozzle so it leaves a massive mess, I ended up having to use a butter knife and my fingers, and had to throw the glaze I didn’t use in the trash because the bottle obviously won’t seal. Whoever designed this should lose their job, I am incredibly angry that I wasted time and money on this and will never purchase this brand ever again.
